SOLO for Singles started life in 1991 as a singles newspaper in Dallas-Fort Worth. It reported on events for singles in the area, sponsored and even helped start singles groups for happy hour and other events, ran reasonably-priced personal ads (Heart Express), and published articles of interest to singles in DFW.

And then came the internet. Since 1996, SOLO for Singles has owned the domain solosingles.com and continued to report (through the internet) on the singles scene in Dallas-Fort Worth. Eventually SOLO started personals on the internet for Heart Express.

It is impossible to stay local on the internet so SOLO grew to include other cities and even other countries until singles worldwide used SOLO.

Unfortunately, Network Solutions sold the domain solosingles.com to a dating and advertising web on August 1, 2008. 

We will replace this website with solosingles.org. It will take time as the SOLO web is enormous and SOLO for Singles is a non-profit endeavor with a volunteer staff.
